*Chocolate Banana Oat Bars
Banana oat bars with a drizzle of peanut butter for my little monkeys, Zayn and Julien (and for me of course!).
Yield: 14-16 bars (depends how you slice them)
You will need:
-4-6 mashed ripe bananas
-1 heaping tablespoon of cocoa/carob
-A dash of cinnamon
-2 cups gluten-free oats
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F and line baking pan with parchment paper
2. Mix all the ingredients together and spread into the lined pan
3. Bake for 35-40 minutes (until baked through) and allow to cool once out of the oven
4. Store in the fridge in an airtight container
*You can add whatever you like to this recipe (I added 1 tablespoon chia seeds and drizzled peanut butter on top)
*Add-In ideas: chocolate chips, cocoa nibs, berries, coconut, raisins, nuts, seeds, peanut butter, dried fruit, etc.
