*Raw Peanut Butter & Jam Bars
Anything that is peanut butter and jam has my name written all over it! I created these simple bars with a fresh added touch of pureed strawberries, but you could easily use jam instead. Sprinkle peanuts or macadamia nuts over top for an added crunch!
Yield: 1 serving
You will need:
Base:
-1 cup oat flour
-1/2 cup peanut butter
-1/2 cup dates
-2 tablespoons almond milk
Toppings:
-1/2 cup berry jam
-Sprinkle of chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
1. Using a food processor, blend all the ingredients together for the base until combined and press into a lined pan
2. Spread the jam and nuts over top of the base and place in the fridge to firm up until ready to serve
